I never thought about these home ingredients being harmful, but it makes perfect sense. My garden has the insects taking care of each other. Cornell Cooperative Extension recommends Integrated Pest Management, and I try to follow this in my garden. Seeing the earthworms leave the soil would bother me quite a bit.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1947997585334958395.post-32568092103242887592010-10-20T18:42:17.710-04:002010-10-20T18:42:17.710-04:00Don't mean to be a wet blanket on your parade,...Don't mean to be a wet blanket on your parade, but just because the ingredients are natural does not mean that they are not harmful or not poisonous. The products are still killing plants and insects. Consider the comment on vinegar, it kills everything it touches. I've watched earthworms move out of the soil where I tried applying it on dandelions. Care should still be taken when using them.Pattyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13191861892726873074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1947997585334958395.post-54726353435149597482010-10-20T15:45:29.195-04:002010-10-20T15:45:29.195-04:00I was curious about the weed killer too.
