I've never heard of digging them up to replant in the spring.

I tried to leave a comment on your most recent post, but no form came up. I don't know if you can freeze those peppers whole, but if you do, remember the seeds are hotter than the peppers themselves.

Your porch looks very nice and homey with all those plants on it.Corner Gardener Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10631500918579405664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1947997585334958395.post-70978673214520838412010-11-08T11:34:05.251-05:002010-11-08T11:34:05.251-05:00I hope they make it!I hope they make it!The JRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10860982258621823529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1947997585334958395.post-28281130973144502612010-11-08T08:34:52.666-05:002010-11-08T08:34:52.666-05:00Oh my gosh, your full up with pepper plants that&#...Oh my gosh, your full up with pepper plants that's for sure...I love it.:) Those really are some big plants, more like pepper bushes.Mr. H.https://www.blogger.com/profile/04576034751522467377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1947997585334958395.post-21037559279521173682010-11-07T22:57:16.167-05:002010-11-07T22:57:16.167-05:00I think your porch looks absolutely fantastic with...I think your porch looks absolutely fantastic with all those plants!thyme2gardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06512569281844698265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1947997585334958395.post-62368821351075949602010-11-07T14:13:50.050-05:002010-11-07T14:13:50.050-05:00Oops, my original comment may not have been accept...Oops, my original comment may not have been accepted so I'm trying again.

Just wanted to say how inspired I am by your hard work and beautiful plants. I think your porch looks wonderful: green, lush, living, nourishing and so tidy.

I don't think you're crazy. Or maybe we're both crazy. Or we both love our plants so much we make extraordinary, time-consuming, heavy-lifting-required efforts to keep them alive from season to season.

Cheers, I'm off for a walk under mostly-sunny (yay) skies.Elainehttp://greensandberries.squarespace.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1947997585334958395.post-42376715065085877812010-11-07T14:07:54.720-05:002010-11-07T14:07:54.720-05:00Before I head out for a walk (under sunny skies, y...Before I head out for a walk (under sunny skies, yay), I thought I'd visit your garden. So glad I did.

That is a very impressive habanero pepper plant and an even more impressive porch. Living, lush, green, nourishing and very tidy. After admiring your hard work and great results, I'm inspired to tackle another stage of my fall balcony clean-up. After the walk, of course.

I don't think you're at all crazy. Or maybe we're both crazy. Or just gardeners who love our plants.Elainehttp://greensandberries.squarespace.com/noreply@blogger.com
