Under the container the sharpie ink stays intact and doesn't fade from sunlight. To check what's in the container is easy enough. Just raise it above your eyes and read what it is.

Trudi DavidoffTrudi Davidoffhttp://wintersown.orgnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1947997585334958395.post-91241272451063259882012-04-24T17:28:55.217-04:002012-04-24T17:28:55.217-04:00Meems -- I've struggled with garden markers, t...Meems -- I've struggled with garden markers, too. Sharpies just don't last. The best thing I've found are China markers or grease pencils, dunno exactly what they are called. On painted wood, under a sprinkler, it stays on. Probably would work on raw wood, too, if you can find a cabinet maker with scraps he'll give you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1947997585334958395.post-52160763092177346922012-04-23T18:12:15.439-04:002012-04-23T18:12:15.439-04:00I've never tried wintersowing seeds but I"...I've never tried wintersowing seeds but I"m glad your experiment is working!!
