They can stay in during the winter and you will have leeks to harvest during those cold snowy winter days.Robinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12220238404223196571noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1947997585334958395.post-33498083959859615162011-05-11T13:19:02.484-04:002011-05-11T13:19:02.484-04:00When they are that small, it's hard to tell th...When they are that small, it's hard to tell them from grass....The JRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10860982258621823529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1947997585334958395.post-46451010614832133002011-05-11T12:00:40.524-04:002011-05-11T12:00:40.524-04:00I don't remember if I started my first leeks f...I don't remember if I started my first leeks from seeds over 30 years ago, as a young gardener, or what, but they turned out pretty good. I'm thinking they didn't turn out as good the next year. I haven't grown them for a long time. I'd like to try again.

The tomatoes, peppers, basils, and such that I planted inside in March ran out of room in those little expandable pots, and I didn't get a chance to put them into something bigger. They are all stunted now, and I don't know if they will make it. I've been trying to harden them off so I can plant them. I did plant a few basils, but not all, because it could storm this evening.

I hope your little cuties make it!Corner Gardener Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10631500918579405664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1947997585334958395.post-68996943708795823732011-05-11T11:58:01.148-04:002011-05-11T11:58:01.148-04:00Thanks Mimi!
