Finally Blooming: Spring Bulbs

The daffodils are starting their show! What a pretty display!
These make me so happy.  Daffodils are such a happy flower!
I can't wait until they are all blooming.  I don't know why I didn't plant a whole lot more!  Next year, I definitely have to plant a lot more. I should fill the entire space with spring bulbs!  Yes, that's what I'll do for next year for sure.  :)

  1. Yes I'd say you should have planted a lot more dafs. I plant them 4-6 inches apart.

I would trade seeds with you, your zinnia and nasturium seeds would work. I like single zinnias, the butterflies like them too. The hellebores have not released the seeds yet, but they are going to pretty soon. My e mail is birdcr@concentric.net

  2. The daffodils should multiply for your for a few years giving you more flowers each year. Eventually they get kind of crowded and don't bloom as much. Mark where you want to put more now while these are blooming. Daffodils are the happiest flowers.

  3. Seems weird cause mine have already bloomed and my yard is in the 3rd phase of blooms.

  4. Daffodils are my favorite early bulbs, they remind me of little suns. I know I plan to add lots more bulbs this fall, it's just finding space to plant them.

  5. Yay! Unlike tulips, daffodils always seem to come back, so I try to plant a few every year. Fun to experiment with different varieties, too.
