I took a walk around the yard this morning and sure enough, I see signs of spring. I am not sure what is growing here exactly, looking forward to seeing it come to life!
Good to see the green. Those may be tulips or hyacinths. I'm hoping that our snow will be gone by the end of the week and I might see some green shoots.
I'm thinking hyacinth, of course, even tho must tulips outer 'leaves' tend to curl like it's cupping the flower, there's some varieties that do look just like hyacinth...whichever they are, you'll find out in a week or two when the flower begins to show! YAYS, how fun! yep, bearded iris in the back. In the fall, those should be mowed down, supposedly it helps the nutrient levels and such. I LOVE irises, I can't wait until they start growing here!
Such sweet signs!
