This was one of my favorite presents from the Hubs. It's the gnome you see on Travelocity's commercials. It's funny to see people's reactions to garden gnomes. My sister was repulsed by my new gnome, she does not like them at all. Either you love them or you hate them. I'm the kind that loves them. I mean, doesn't he just look like a miniature Santa? How can you not think he's the cutest? I will have to come up with a name for him. I haven't decided whether I want him permanent in my garden yet. I feel like where I live, this is something that might get "stolen". I might just keep him on my garden tool bench to keep me company when I'm potting and sowing seeds into starter pots. Did you get any fun gifts?
Hopefully you'll find the perfect spot for him.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure if I love or hate gnomes. I think I'm in the category of want to love them. I'm more of a garden dinosaur/gargoyle type.
ReplyDeleteHe is great! Last year I bought a gargoyle. I put it at the bottom of the garden where I can see it from my dinning room window when I'm working. I bought it inside for the winter because winter is so long here. It would be covered in snow for at least 5 months and I wouldn't get to enjoy it otherwise.
ReplyDeleteI love gnomes, this one is fabulous! Certainly a wonderful helper while you sow your seeds! all the seed catalogs are coming in, I can hardly wait to get out into the gardens again!!
ReplyDeleteHe's so cute : ) I have one gnome in my flower garden-I wish I had more.
