Our bell pepper plants are getting bigger but still no blooms yet. The good news is that the heat is not destroying them. I'm going to be so excited when I see the first peppers forming. I'm already dreaming about stuffed peppers.
It's nice to have plants that can survive this heat, isn't it? I tried to grow peppers from seed this year, and they just stopped growing after their second set of leaves. The plants aren't dead or anything, but it's like they just froze in place, perfectly healthy looking but not growing. Really bizarre. Hope you end up with some peppers soon!
Now you have us thinking about stuffed peppers too!
ReplyDeleteYUM!
Peppers look good. And I would doing the same thing everytime I looked at my plants. Yummmy, stuffed peppers. Stir-fry or on the grill :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice! Mine are about the same size. They have blooms but not peppers yet. They usually are not ready until late Aug/early Sept.

ReplyDeleteThey look great. I hope you get lots of delicious peppers and show us how you make the stuffed peppers.
ReplyDeleteHope you get to make them soon. One year my plants made so many I took a 5 gallon bucket to work.
ReplyDeleteI don't even eat them. Will sometimes put them in something (in big chunks) and then pick them out....
