The last of the seedlings

I must admit, I'm sick of seeing the huge mess of seedlings in my front enclosed porch. I started off with actual pots and then when I ran out, I used a mishmosh of recycled plastic containers, plastic cups, pudding containers, ricotta cheese containers, and sour cream containers. I'm eager to get my front porch back, the plants are not quite big enough to go out into the garden.
So I've moved most of them to the back porch to get larger and harden off. I can't wait to get them in the garden!

  1. Good luck with your new little babies! I'm not patient enough to give that a try, lol. :)

  2. They'll be glad to get into the garden so they can jump up and grow big!

Happy 4th of July. Have a great holiday.

  3. They should do just fine in the garden now. I planted some small seedlings a couple of weeks ago. They really took off once they were in the ground! You may want to get them in the ground before our next heat wave on Monday.

  4. Sorry, I just saw your last comment on the garden blog. Hardly anyone knows about it, so not used to comments. As for the Mexican Heather, yes, it grows small purple flowers. We thought it was invinsable, but it didnt quite make it in one small very sunny part of our pond. But everywhere else, it grows like crazy. I will mark your blog, to follow your gardens. Are you really growing in NEW YORK CITY? One of our favorite places we cant wait to get back to.

  5. I know what you mean...I was so excited to set out the last of my spring transplants in May. Now that I'm starting my fall crops, the mess is slowly returning.

  7. Awww - I know hwo you feel - Mine were in my office and getting no love. Now they are outside and getting no love. Lucky lots have been planted so it's just the stragglers getting the neglect.
