Last month, my cousin Kathy, who lives in Queens, contacted me to ask about starting a vegetable garden. I decided to send her some of my extra seeds to get her started. I sent her a package of seeds that are great for beginners such as peas, radishes, beans, cucumbers, lettuce, herbs. I am so thrilled that she is learning to grow her own veggies, and becoming an urban gardener!
She sent me a photo to show me how well the seedlings are doing. This photo is of the Heirloom French Breakfast Radishes. I am so proud of her! I hope all the seeds do well for her. I can't wait to see the progression of her garden.
Bless your heart for being the mentor and good for her for getting started gardening.
